Prior to his career as a lawyer, he worked as a banker for almost seven years, with experience in branch banking operations, sales and collections. He has represented clients before the Trial Courts, Court of Appeals, Office of the Prosecutor, Department of Justice, National Labor Relations Commissions, Bureau of Immigration, Human Settlement Adjudication Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Land Registration Authority, Register of Deeds, Bureau of Customs, Intellectual Property Office, and has successfully handled cases even before the Supreme Court. He gained and developed his professional skills and experience from working in a law firm and by collaborating with different professionals in several businesses and fields.
He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Arellano University School of Law, where he graduated with honors as Second Honorable Mention, while working as a full-time bank employee. He was an active member of the Bar Operations and has participated in national debate and international moot court competitions as one of the delegates of his law school. He received his Bachelor of Political Science in Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
